xampp - install it lightningfast
Oh yes, it pretty good i have just upgradet my
wampp and it runs fantisticly without any troubles
and has couple of new features in it.
Maybe you know the apachefriends-project, they give
us a complete server enviroment for development.
Here are the main features:

It is incredible cool, i really like the new things like

i wonder if it's already bundled with the php ming and gd libraries. I'm using PHP triad recently and its just a blast that i could already play with ming almost immediately

xampp does have ming and a lot of other extensions/libraries. I even installed php-gtk. I think i'm gonna switch to this php distro

Yes, it now comes bundled with PHP ming. But I'm not sure about the GD Libararies :(
