macromedia flash actionscript scripting, php, remoting, webservices, c#, javascript
I have just seen a really interesting project. It's a project
by Darron Schall and you can find it here.
It can extend your Desktop-Flash-Application with System-Functionalities,
such as storing files etc.. Darron uses wddx to let flash and c# communicate
together so youre datatypes will not lost over the communication.

Hey! Thanks for the promotion... would you be interested in helping by any chance? I've been pretty busy lately with preparing for conferences, writing, and the winter-holiday break, that I haven't been able to work on SharpFlash for awhile. I expect development to pick up again next spring. If you're interested at all, just let me know.

I know a tool that is No!Flash while surfing, and it prevents ALL Macromedia Flash ads, animated Gifs, pop-ups, and Javascript. VERY nice when going to sites like news.com.com (cnet), cnn.com, weather.com, and others that like to throw crap all over the screen. It does disable features here (like the auto-jump when you select the forum from the dropdown bar, and the animated smileys), but I can live without those features. It also impacts some other sites I frequent (banking, UPS shipping, etc), so I do have to turn it on and off, depending on what I'm doing. I no longer get 'do you want to download Macromedia Flash' either. If I want to re-enable the features, it's a click of the mouse, fire off a new browser, and it's good to go again. http://www.geocities.jp/baryonlee/noflash/ to download.

Hehe, sounds interesting, btw. Mozilla-Browser
has also a nice pop-up-breaker and other usefull
options.

You can use <code>code that should be highlightned</code> to highlight code! Optionally you can use the attribut language="php|perl|java" within the code tag, otherwise actionscript-highlightning will be used. |
